But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
We must first seek the King in order to see God’s Kingdom established on Earth as it is in Heaven! The Bible helps us know what it looks like to seek God. The Word of God instructs us to read the Bible (Joshua 1:8), to seek him with prayer and fasting (Joel 1:14), to make disciples (Matthew 28:19), share the Gospel with the lost (Romans 1:16), take care of the “least of these in our communities” (Matthew 25:40), and when this is what we live our lives for it is then the rest will be taken care of by God.
