Payback is the way our world executes justice, but this is not God’s way. He is the only one with the ability to fairly judge the hearts of men and women. We are called to trust Him to work on our behalf when we have been hurt by another person. This does not mean that we keep putting ourselves in an unsafe situation, but it does mean that we lay down our right to “payback” those in our lives that have done us wrong.
